My "Ex" came looking for me the other day..

It came as a big surpise..supposedly for Valentine's but he forgot the date, he was early. Unfortunately I was at the dentist and didn't pick up the phone so he thought I was still pissed off at him and refused to see him. He came with his escorts, entourage and all, to the last known address of my home only to find it was completely demolished and a park is being constructed there. He didn't take it very well so I heard he left in an ambulance because his heart cannot take it anymore. I knew he loved me but he expected me to change my lifestyle, leave my beloved family and live confined in his protective wall constantly guarded..it would feel like being in a prison! I just couldn't do it. Too bad he didn't sms or emailed that he was coming to visit otherwise I would have cancelled my dentist..

Sorry my love the answer is still NO..I'm in love with another man..but I'll accept the Red Ferrari, just leave it at my doorstep.

Blame it on the rain..

I had a great weekend…because I get to nap in while it was pouring outside! Can you imagine the cool air, gloomy clouds and sound of the falling rain hitting your rooftop?? The best time to nap, ever! Everything in the house seems like in a sleepy mode. The chores can wait. Everybody napped. And we woke up, the rain has stopped and the grass are ever so green and still wet, the air was so fresh and I felt soooooo lazy hahaha not a good sign.

We began our weekend with a Wan Wan tom yam and fish soup breakfast on Saturday, then later in the evening brought the kids to 1B amusement centre to indulge them. He's a hearty eater..
He wants to play everything..

Sunday, I dragged everyone (which translates to us with our 3 boys) to the City Day Regatta at Kinabalu Yacht Club but we weren’t sure whether we were too late or too early. So the boys kicked some sand, took pics with the sail boats and then we went home. Little did I know my cousin took part and won (felt like hitting my forehead). Communication breakdown.
Ms. Tania Beverly William..this was her 1st competition and she WON! I wonder why the gloomy face?

A picture of you at the most unique environmentObviously unique because this is only once in a lifetime but the most weird feeling of all was I didn't know what to do with my facial expression. The orang tua said don't smile or sengih-sengih but I wanted to smile so bad because I felt so happy..so most of my nikah pics I got a confused and consious look on my face.

A picture that means a lot to youMy engagement day in March 2002 and the only pic with my parents that I have in possession right now. The bedroom I tumpang my beloved 1st cousin the late Dg. Zuraizah and it was not long after her wedding, still in the wedding decor. I came out of the salon with my hair done 30mins before the my fiance entourage arrived. I was so nervous I couldn't draw a straight line so my good friend Tashi did my make up. Thats mad rush.

A picture of you with some toys or cute stuffWith Amir Yussof at KK Jazz Festival at 1B, the roof leaked, the floor vibrated too strong for my peace of mind and we didn't pay entrance hahahah..

A picture of you in white shirtSetting up our event..still fat wohhhhh..this was the day the gas price went up drastically and allegedly the gas stations will not accept credit card pymts and the people of KK freaked out causing imcomprehensible traffic jam everywhere and the gas stations ran out of gas.

Sharon you're IT!!

How to get pregnant fast...

hahahahahaha...
"I read this testimonial and I would like to share this to anyone who is still trying to have their baby..good luck ;-)"

There's a lot more to getting pregnant than just having intercourse sometime in the middle of your cycle and hoping to see that positive pregnancy test instead of your period.

I learned this the hard way.

When I was trying to conceive, I found out that there was a lot that I didn't know. Which led me to making a lot of big mistakes which were actually preventing me from getting pregnant.

For one thing, I had the timing all wrong. I thought I ovulated 14 days after the start of my period, but later learned that this is a big mistake that many women make. For most women, ovulation does not occur 14 days after their period starts even though many women think this is true. That's because most women do not have a perfect 28 day cycle.

And would you believe I was using lubrication (KY jelly), that I later found out can kill sperm!! That certainly wasn't helping me to get pregnant, was it?

I also had my husband "save up" his sperm thinking this would make him more fertile when my ovulation day came, and it turns out this actually makes him less fertile, and reduces the chance of pregnancy. Who knew?? Avoid Common Mistakes! CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT Oh, I could go on and on about all the mistakes I was making.

Luckily, after spending months researching, I uncovered many possible mistakes which can get in the way of getting pregnant, and I made a lot of changes based on what I learned.

And guess what, I conceived my two little "bundles of joy" (not at the same time!) soon after I made some changes!

I wrote a little report to inform other women about the common mistakes I discovered which will reduce your chances of getting pregnant. I bet you'll be surprised to find that you're making at least a few yourself!!

You can get your free copy of the "7 Mistakes Report" by clicking here. Consider it my gift to you...

I sincerely hope it helps you have your own little "bundle of joy."

Baby dust to you ....

'MAYA ANGELOU'S' BEST POEM EVER

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
enough
money within her control to move out
and rent a place of her own,
even if she never wants to or needs to...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
something
perfect to wear if the employer,
or date of her dreams
wants to see her in an hour..

A WOMAN SHOULD
HAVE .
a youth she's content to leave behind

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
a past juicy
enough that she's looking forward to
retelling it in her
old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
one friend who
always makes her laugh.. and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
a good piece
of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her
family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
eight
matching plates, wine glasses with stems,
and a recipe for
a meal,
that will make her guests feel honored...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a feeling of
control over her destiny..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD
KNOW...
how to fall in love without losing herself..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
how to quit
a job,
break up with a lover,
and confront a friend
without;
ruining the friendship...

EVERY WOMAN
SHOULD KNOW...
when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK
AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
that she can't change the length of her calves,
the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
that her
childhood may not have been perfect...but it's over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
what she
would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW....
how to live
alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW.. .
whom she can trust,
whom she can't,
and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...
where to
go...
be it to her best friend's kitchen table..
or a
charming Inn in the woods...
when her soul needs
soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..
What she can and can't accomplish in a day...
a month...and a year...

Fresh Ideas

Colleagues and I went for hotel inspection the better half of today..all at 1B. Saw Mercure, Novotel, 1B Grand Ballroom and Tune Hotels. What struck me the most about Mercure and Novotel is their fresh modern design and bold colours usage on the walls and carpets. I like their attention to small details in the fittings and decors. And the most obvious feature in both is the see-through screen wall / window that separates the bedroom and bathroom...bikin tambah anak ni.

Mercure KK, Deluxe Room. U should stay in their Super Deluxe OMG, but it's really meant for COUPLES ONLY and ironically if those who are there to indulge in a forbidden escapade, the view of the room will be facing the mosque hahahahahah..<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggx3BgvL-9RH0LMP9L4ZsDrwzQmqJp59l5nHYIWSGxtPRKZ5piyRVU8mY6VdakSIwpiRa4ElKP3VPIrC4Gyfsg85bCUcWjvi6qik57YfylYMQr_hniEht2YyFCqQRNuJpz7E463b97EBM/s1600-h/Mercure+Deluxe+Room.jpg">
Mercure rooftop covered swimming pool, cool eh?
At the Novotel bar, all their coffee tabletop will have these intricate whatchamacallit..and it is different on each table. So unique and eye-catching. Bravo for the designer, I like this idea. Imagine if you're seated with other people and in awkward silence, this will definitely be a good conversation starter.
And you know me, I loooove red and the 1 Borneo Grand Ballroom has RED chandelliers! The walls are in red as well and they have deep red tablecloth with organza overlay. Very dramatic. I had visions of a decadent masquerade ball organized here or someting like a bourdoir themed dinner party with plush and rich coloured decors. But my pathetic 2mgpix hp cam is not doing any justice to my impression lahh haiya..

The Year of the Ox

The beginning of the new Lunar year saw me wrapped in sweaters, socks and blanket..plus two of my offsprings. Hope it will bring better health and money as the days goes by..so tak syok la holidays kena fever..can't fully enjoy the feast cause all I tasted was bitter. But anyways, here's our family celebration to share with you all..

CNY Eve dinner was held at my aunt's house in Tg. Aru. Concept is potluck not like the traditional Chinese Eve menu. Many more foodies but all were devoured before I can click, ingat perut dulu.
Ariff excited with the oranges
Some of the clan after dinner gossips..
This is wajib, steamed chicken, you bit the flesh and wrap in the salad then dip in soya sauce mixed with ginger, garlic and chilli
Kam Hiong Mangrove Crabs, my potluck contribution
Buttermilk prawns courtesy of Mum
My boys, Nabil is feverish already but control macho, didn't want to be left out with in the raucous with his young uncles
26th Jan, 2009 (1st day of CNY) our family went to stay at Nepenthes Lodge at Mt. Kinabalu National Park. It was cold and rainy the two days we were there and I was too busy running up and down chasing after the boys so not many pictures taken lah.

This pic was shot at 6.15am 27th Jan 09. Benjy couldn't sleep well because of te cold and unfamiliar place so he and hubby woke up early and got trigger happy. Beautiful clear shot of the Mountain.
Before we headed home, we attempted to take our "historical" photo at Timpohon Gate but memang cuaca tidak mengizinkan this time, raining again (it rains everytime we go snap there lah. So snap the road sign pun jadilah)
Ini gambar tiga orang demam. Only Ben and hubby is ok. I look so pale oh kan..no mood to bermekap lagi

Headache..

Why?? Because kena hujan daaa.. We went for hotel inspection this morning half of the day and it was raining. To Tuaran beach Resort. For our upcoming company's family day. The place is ok, sesuai dengan crowd yang akan hadir bersama-sama anak-anak. Price is ok as well. We were greeted and entertained by the Sales & Marketing cum HR cum Accounts Manager Mr. Sainin who is so nice to show us the place and belanja makan. Tuaran Beach Resort is ideal for families, it is not exactly 5-star or luxurious so perfect for those who has a limited budget. It has many activities for the whole family to indulge in.
Big surfs
Lemongrass Spa, cheap woh, got discount some more buttt..we didn't do it coz me and the model seen here amat penggeli tidak tahan kena urut

Didn't take pics of rooms, tak terfikir pulak. A new 5-star resort is under construction next door, so ada lagi destinasi cuti-cuti baru yang boleh dilawati soon.

Being full time working parents, one of the major headaches we have to face is to find the carer of our children when we're away at work. It is either to get a nanny or send the kids to the day care centre, both have its pros and cons. In our case, to get a nanny is not in our option for various reasons. So after scouting almost all of the popular nurseries in KK, we found the most comfortable, flexible and trustworthy that is not too far off our route.

My children starts to come here from the age of 2 months old. Yes, I know some will cringe at the idea of sending their children so early especially newborn but all my worries are comforted when I see how they take really good and meticulous care of the babies. They give attentive care for example, bacakan selawat when they arrive in the morning, give personalised care of their diet (allergies, obesity etc), if the baby has perut kembung, they will treat accordingly, give them soft toys to play with and other activities to encourage soft motor skills (pergerakan jari, sounds, recognizing objects etc)..so Medix is not just a day care centre where the cildren just play, eat and sleep but learn and develop as well.

During the years when I was in the tourism line, when my odd working hours was so frequent, I was so thankful to Medix as they were there to solve my problem. It is operational 24-hours (ngam ka ayat ni?). You can have your kids stay overnight and they will be taken care of just like at home. They have security guard at night as well. But of course all of this convenience come at a price..RM400 per child below 1 yrs old. Rate will decrease if older. Meals, stationeries, toys, toiletries are provided so you will have to bring your own formula milk and diapers. I send my kids still in their pyjamas and they will smell like blossoms when I come to fetch them home, and fed. Their meals will be from breakfast, snack time, lunch and snack time. If overtime (means if you're picking them up later at night), then dinner will be given as well. Saturdays it is open full day except for 1st Saturday which they will close. You can send your children as early as 7am and pick up at 6pm, which after that they will charge extra.

Of course, it is not perfect..as in normal cases, children in the nurseries are more likely to contract illness than stay at home children. This is the bitter pill. The parents of the sick child still send them to the nursery. What Medix will do is, if the kid is suspected or showing the early signs of sickness, they will call the parent immediately and advise them to bring them for treatment and if it's contagious will ask the parents to take them home. They will do their best to attend to the sick child but, we have to understand that they have other children to tend to as well.

All in all I am quite happy with their services (not without some "moments" though, biasalah tu)..I feel it is comfortable and safe for my children.
