Twas held at the S'pore Indoor Stadium..went there just for the concert n stayed 1 nite..imagine the whirlwind escapade we had..before the concert, we only managed to cover Orchard Road, HRC (mandatory), and after concert the Merlion Park. Even got lost trying to walk back to the hotel from Merlion Park. We enjoyed Singapore tremendously ie the weather, shopping, efficient public tranport and ultimately the Concerto! It was worth every penny..Senor Carlos Santana didn't dissappoint. 3 encores! Even my beloved mother in law stood up and danced along..Black Magic Woman. The only discomfort i had was my lactating spotlights..adeh! Just couldn't bear the hard rock pain until i had to relieve myself there n then, luckily it was dim enuf heheh..
Changi Airport Terminal 3 is very impressive..we even had breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe in T3. It felt more like a shopping complex than an airport..i think this its an excellent idea for travellers to spend more S$ before they leave the country. Squeeze their dough till the last moment..
A funny experience while in the MPV transfer on the way to S'pore..the driver after knowing that we are going to the concert n found out that we are a bunch of "musician" tried to entertain us..he turned on the mini TV he had installed in the car n POOF!! Inul Darastita was gyrating her jelly hips in front of us..do we look like Dangdut fanatics???? it never cease to amaze me how she can twist n turn like that...after 15 minutes i felt nauseous just by looking at her moving like a ceiling fan.
Overall..we are definitely coming back to Singapore.
